A final year NTU student allegedly stabbed a professor before falling off to his death from the linkway between two blocks on Monday morning.
ReplyDeleteIt is believed that David Hartanto Widjaja, 21, from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) school, stabbed Associate Professor(A/P) Chan Kap Luk, 45, from the same faculty. The incident happened at Block S1A at about 10.35am in the morning.
David Widjaja was pronounced dead on the spot while Prof Chan is receiving medical attention at the National University Hospital and is said to be recovering well. But when David Widjaja's parents wanted to meet the professor, the doctors said that he was in a "CRITICAL" condition
According to the Channel News Asia report,it reported that he had "SLIT" his wrist and jumped of the bridge. The police investigators have seen his body. It had been confirmed that there was NO WOUND whatsoever on his wrists.
The possible reasons for stabbing his Proffesor then falling off the bridge are :...
1) He pissed off because his scholarship has been revoked as he could have came from a poor family and could not afford to pay.
2) He pissed off since his prof did not give satisfactory grade. He could not afford to fail his final year project as he had always been the "TOP" student.

David Hartanto Widjaja stabbed his Associate Professor(A/P) Chan Kap Luk was because of stress i think .
ReplyDeleteHe was stress because his scholarship has been claim back and after this he had to pay for his school fees but he could not afford it or it is the stress from his project, because it is the last project and it will be graded if he fail he will not be the top student of NTU

Recently, a scholar, David Widjaja stabbed his professor before committing suicide. Before that, David went to the highest level of his university and stabbed his professor at the arm and back. And slipped his arm at the railing and fell off the building.
ReplyDeleteThe causes are possibly due to the student playing too much computer games that involves violence which caused him to act vilently against his professor. Every student should set themselves a period of time to use the computer and not to exceed the timing that they had set for themselves and the timing should not be too long.

David Hartanto Widjaja stabbed his Associate Professor(A/P) Chan Kap Luk was because of stress.
ReplyDelete1) He was stress because his scholarship has been revoked, and he does not have enough money for his school fees.
2) He was stress because the professor did not give him a satisfactory grade for his final year project. He could not afford to get such lousy results for this project as he was always the top student.
